Cheesy Thumbprints with Pepper Jelly

2       C   Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1       C   All Purpose Flour
1/2    C   Pepper Jelly (Your choice of flavors)
6       T   Chilled Butter, chopped

Directions:Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Blend cheese, flour, and butter until dough is coarse meal texture.  Form into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place 1 inch apart on a baking sheet.  Bake 5 minutes, remove from oven and press thumb into top of each ball to create indentation.  Spoon about 1 t of pepper jelly into indentation.  Bake until edges are golden brown, about 5 minutes.

    Just tried the cheesy thumbprints, love them. This is my new take along appetizer, starting tomorrow night. Yum!
